Good Afternoon SRCE Families:
At this time, classes at all schools will resume tomorrow, Thursday, February 8, 2024.
If anything changes and there are class and/or bus delays/cancellations impacting specific school(s) or bus service tomorrow, the SRCE will be following its usual notification process.
I extend a sincere thank you to our Operations staff, snow removal contractors, Emergency Management Office (EMO) Coordinators and provincial Public Works Department, and the many other providers and crews who have been working hard to clean-up and reopen schools and services in communities in the Strait Region and throughout the province.
We have appreciated everyone’s patience and understanding as we worked diligently to ensure the safe return of students and staff to schools and buildings.
