Good Afternoon SRCE Families:
I am excited to welcome you back and hope you had an enjoyable summer.
As we plan for the start of another school year, student well-being, achievement and success will continue to be a priority for our school system as we work to implement the following goals of the 2023-2024 System Improvement Plan:
- Foster student well-being through the creation of positive, safe, equitable and inclusive learning environments;
- Improve student achievement in literacy; and
- Improve student achievement in mathematics.
These goals will be integrated throughout all subject areas and across all grade levels to promote student success.
We will also continue to focus on supporting the ongoing implementation of the provincial Inclusive Education Policy. As a system, we must ensure student well-being, inclusion and equity are at the core of everything we do.
If you have questions about your individual school, please visit your school website or contact your principal. SRCE staff is committed to ensuring the well-being of all students and our staff are ready to help and connect families with the right support and resources. We encourage families to reach out to school administration who will be able to connect them with the appropriate help and support.
